All managers and supervisors play a vitally important role in ensuring that safety considerations are assessed and appropriate action is taken to control occupational risks in the workplace. The law demands that all undertakings must be properly and effectively managed in respect of the Health and Safety aspects arising throughout an organisation.
Managing safely is about people, property, systems and equipment. This course will examine the reasons why over 500 people are killed and around 30,000 are seriously injured at work each year. It will also show that the Health and Safety Executive place responsibility on management for allowing 75% of deaths and injuries to occur.
